Judo is both a martial art and Olympic sport. At Southam Dojo LLC our emphasis is not on sport but rather on the application of Judo and Hakkoryu Jujutsu in self-defense. We teach the following classes:

We guarantee you that the quality of instruction you will receive is of the highest level and wish you well on your personal journey and discovery of Kodokan Judo and Hakkoryu Jujustu.

OUR LOCATION —

We are located on the lower level of the Friedens Lutheran Church in Myerstown, PA


Southam Dojo LLC is conveniently located right off the intersection of U.S. Route 422 & Pennsylvania Route 501. The entrance to the parking area is directly across from the Myerstown Turkey Hill.

Kodokan Judo

Classes on Thursdays & Saturdays

At Southam Dojo LLC Judo is studied with an emphasis on self-defense, (Goshin Jutsu.) You will learn to have flexibility in your response to an attack, from mild to severe, based on your abilities and the variables of the situation.

Schools of Hakkoryu Jujutsu exercise strategies that avoid conflict as much as possible, and employ techniques that do not use strength, but instead use techniques that work against the body's natural motions and movements to take down the opponent.

Learn and earn legitimate certification in two Japanese martial arts for one low cost


Southam Dojo LLC is affiliated with the United States Judo Association and Hakkoryu Hombu Dojo. Our students have the option of certtifying their ranks with those organizations

We operate a safe and clean environment. All of our black belt instructors are experienced professionals who undergo periodic background investigation.
